We are often asked why the word ‘Brass’ is included in our company name. The reason is that a lot of hardware is manufactured from brass and it is a fascinating material.

For centuries brass has been used to manufacture architectural hardware. It has a beautiful colour and sheen, is easily worked or formed, and has always attracted architects and interior designers.

Brass does tarnish with age but this is often considered to be part of its charm. Brass products are often polished and can also be lacquered to prevent tarnishing and tarnished items can be repolished and relaquered.
