History of the Business

Handles & Brass began trading in 1995 as an adjunct to a furniture manufacturing business and then became established at Heaphy Terrace in Hamilton as a separate business specialising in cabinetware and residential hardware.

In 2003 the business relocated to Somerset Street, Frankton, and expanded into the commercial hardware market, offering a supply and installation service.

By concentrating on quality of product and quality of service the business has forged strong relationships with:

housing groups

interior designers
furniture manufacturers
kitchen manufacturers, and
the general public

and has enjoyed strong and profitable growth.
